CHRIST IS THE HEAD OF GOD’S NEW CREATION
IT’S INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT ADAM WAS THE FEDERAL HEAD OF MANKIND AND WHEN HE SINNED, ALL MEN BECAME SINNERS
“For just as through the disobedience of the one man (Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous” (Rom. 5:19).
ONE SIN FROM ADAM, THE FEDERAL HEAD OF MANKIND, RESULTED IN CONDEMNATION FOR ALL MEN
“Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men” (Rom. 5:18).
WHEN THE FIRST ADAM SINNED, ALL MEN ARE MADE SINNERS EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY SIN YET.
THIS IS THE REASON WHY THE BIBLE SAYS,
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23).
"There is no one righteous, not even one” (Rom. 3:10).
“All our righteous acts are like filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6b).
THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT GOD SENT HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, ALSO KNOWN AS THE LAST ADAM.

“So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit” (1 Cor. 15:45).
THE FIRST ADAM CAME FROM THE DUST, THE LAST ADAM (CHRIST) CAME FROM HEAVEN.
“The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven” (1 Cor. 15:47).
THROUGH THE LAST ADAM (CHRIST) GOD MADE A NEW CREATION.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ (2 Cor 5:17-18).
THE LAST ADAM (CHRIST) ALSO BECAME THE FEDERAL HEAD OF THE NEW CREATION PEOPLE, THE CHURCH.
“He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church” (Col. 1:17-18).
THE LAST ADAM OBEYED GOD AND ALL WHO BELIEVED IN HIM ARE MADE RIGHTEOUS.

ONE ACT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM THE LAST ADAM (CHRIST) WAS JUSTIFICATION THAT BRINGS LIFE FOR ALL MEN!

WHEN THE FIRST ADAM SINNED, ALL MEN ARE MADE SINNERS EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOT COMMITTED ANY SIN YET.
IN THE SAME TOKEN, WHEN THE LAST ADAM (CHRIST) OBEYED GOD, THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM ARE MADE RIGHTEOUS WITHOUT BEING RIGHTEOUS.
REMEMBER, WE ARE NOT SINNERS BECAUSE WE SIN; WE SIN BECAUSE WE ARE SINNERS. IN THE SAME TOKEN, WE ARE NOT RIGHTEOUS BECAUSE WE DO RIGHTEOUS THINGS; WE DO RIGHTEOUS THINGS BECAUSE IN CHRIST WE ARE MADE RIGHTEOUS.
IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!
