IT’S INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT IT IS NOT YOUR OBEDIENCE OR THE LACK OF IT THAT MAKES YOU RIGHTEOUS IN GOD’S SIGHT; BUT THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST!
“For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous” (Roman 5:19).”
THIS IS THE HERITAGE OF THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST.
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, AND THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS FROM ME," SAYS THE LORD” (ISAIAH 54:17).
RIGHTEOUSNESS IS A GIFT AND IT COMES THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST TO ALL WHO BELIEVE.
RIGHTEOUSNESS IS A GIFT AND IT COMES THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST TO ALL WHO BELIEVE.
“But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe” (Rom. 3;21-22).
CHRIST IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS AND OUR HOLINESS.
CHRIST IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS AND OUR HOLINESS.
“It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: ‘LET HIM WHO BOASTS BOAST IN THE LORD’” (1 Cor. 1:30-31).
WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST!
WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST!
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Cor. 5:21).
CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW SO THAT THERE MAY BE RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES.
CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW SO THAT THERE MAY BE RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES.
“Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.” (Rom. 10:4).
IF RIGHTEOUSNESS COULD BE GAIN THROUGH YOUR OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW, CHRIST DIED FOR NOTHING.
IF RIGHTEOUSNESS COULD BE GAIN THROUGH YOUR OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW, CHRIST DIED FOR NOTHING.
“I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” (Gal. 2:21).
THE ISRAELITES DURING THE TIME OF THE APOSTLES DID NOT SUBMIT TO GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS, BUT SOUGHT TO ESTABLISH THEIR OWN,
“Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness” (Rom. 10:1-3).
THE ZEALOUSNESS OF THE JEWS WAS NOT BASED ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GOSPEL OF GOD’S GRACE.

“For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith.”
WE REIGN IN LIFE BECAUSE WE RECEIVE THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THE ABUNDANT PROVISION OF GRACE.
WE REIGN IN LIFE BECAUSE WE RECEIVE THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THE ABUNDANT PROVISION OF GRACE.
“For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.” (Rom. 5:17).
