THE POWER OF SIN IS THE LAW.
“WE ARE FREE FROM THE LAW AND FROM THE POWER OF SIN. WE ARE NO LONGER BOUND BY THE FEAR OF MEN!”
“The sting of death is sin, and the power (dunamis) of sin is the law” (1 Cor. 15:56)
IF YOU REMOVE THE LAW IN THE EQUATION, SIN WILL NO LONGER HAVE POWER OR DOMINION OVER YOU.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT GOD DID; HE CANCELED THE LAW AND NAILED IT ON THE CROSS.
“He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross”
(Col 2:14).
THIS IS THE REASON WHY UNDER THE NEW COVENANT, SIN CAN NOT EXERCISE LORDSHIP OVER THOSE WHO ARE UNDER GRACE.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace.”
“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace.”
(Rom 6:14)
YOU SEE, THE SINLESS LIFE OF CHRIST AND HIS FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS SATISFIED THE PERFECT REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW ON OUR BEHALF.
“For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us” (Romans 8:3-4)
UNDER THE NEW COVENANT OF GRACE WE ENJOY THE NON-IMPUTATION OF SIN!

“Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” (Hebrews 10:17)
GOD HAS GIVEN US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION AND HAS COMMITTED TO US THE MESSAGE OF RECONCILIATION.
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that GOD WAS RECONCILING THE WORLD TO HIMSELF IN CHRIST, NOT COUNTING MEN'S SINS AGAINST THEM. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” (2 Cor. 5:18-19)
IN CHRIST YOU HAVE BEEN SET FREE FROM SIN AND HAVE BECOME SLAVES TO RIGHTEOUSNESS.

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."
(Romans 8:1-2)
