MANY HAD THE WRONG NOTION OF EQUATING OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW AS FAITH; THE LAW IS NOT BASED ON FAITH! (Galatians 3:12) “The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, ‘the man that doeth them shall live in them.’”
THE MAN THAT “DOETH” THEM SHALL LIVE IN THEM!
GRACE IS ANTITHESIS TO WORK
(Rom 4:4-5) “Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness.”
FAITH IS NOT ABOUT DOING RIGHT, BUT BELIEVING RIGHT.
REMEMBER, RIGHT BELIEVING PRODUCES RIGHT LIVING!

ANOTHER THING IS WHEN THE DOCTRINE OF GRACE IS BELIEVED AND FOLLOWED IT SETS YOU FREE FROM SIN AND MAKES YOU SLAVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS!
(Romans 6:17-18) “But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of DOCTRINE (didache) to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.”
GOD’S GRACE EMPOWERS US TO LIVE A RIGHTEOUS LIFE!
(Philippians 2:13) “For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.”
SOME “GRACE-PHOBICS” THOUGHT THAT PEOPLE UNDER GRACE WANTONLY VIOLATE THE LAW BECAUSE THEY ARE NO LONGER UNDER LAW BUT UNDER GRACE NOT REALIZING THAT “GRACE-PEOPLE” ARE MADE SLAVES TO RIGHTEOUSNESS.
FURTHERMORE, CHRIST GAVE THEM A NEW LAW, AKA “THE ROYAL LAW OF LOVE”
(John 13:34) “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
ANOTHER THING IS WHEN THE DOCTRINE OF GRACE IS BELIEVED AND FOLLOWED IT SETS YOU FREE FROM SIN AND MAKES YOU SLAVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS!

REMEMBER:
THE “NEW COVENANT” IS A COVENANT OF GRACE AND YOU ARE ASKED TO LIVE BY FAITH FROM FIRST TO LAST; GRACE IS BY FAITH!
ALSO UNDER GRACE YOU ARE ADMONISHED “TO FIX YOUR EYES ON JESUS THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF YOUR FAITH” (Hebrews 12:2).

IT IS A BIG MISTAKE TO MEASURE YOUR STANDING BEFORE GOD BASED ON YOUR PERFORMANCE OR DOING.

(Romans 3:23) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
