The house of bread

IT’S INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT THE PROPHET MICAH SOME 700 YEARS BEFORE THE BIRTH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FORETOLD THAT CHRIST WILL BE BORN IN A TOWN CALLED BETHLEHEM. "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times" (Mic 5:2).

INDEED, CHRIST WAS BORN IN A PLACE CALLED “BETHLEHEM” WHICH MEANS “THE HOUSE OF BREAD.” LATER IN HIS MINISTRY, JESUS SAID,” I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE!” “I am the bread of life. Your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which a man may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6:48-51). EAT THE WORD OF GOD; JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD. EAT THE FRUIT OF HIS LABOR; HIS FINISHED WORK ON THE CROSS. “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance” (Isa 55:2).
IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS!
